why is farmland ploughed before sowing seeds?​

Answer:

it is ploughed to make soil nutrients to come and accumulate at top this also helps in removal weeds that may steal the nutrition from grown crops ,the ploughing also makes it easier for germinating seed to burrow it's roots into ground.

after sowing seeds it is important to ploughed because:-

  • helps to trap air on the soil
  • allows the roots to reach deeper in the soil
  • helps the soil in retaining moisture for a longer duration
  • helps in mixing the nutrient- rich soil with the top soil
