Almost all the nutrients are necessary for us. Fat is also essential part of food which is necessary for us.It is present in food such as dairy products.

Fats are very important in our diet because:-

Fats are used to get energy when carbohydrates are not available.Fats works as a energy bank of our body.

Tge fat under the skin acts as an insulator, reducing heat loss in cold weather.It thus helps to keep the body warm.
