Why is Fe 3+ ion more stable than Co 3+ ion

Fe 3+ has configuration of 3 d5 which is half filled d configuration and gives extra stability..

while Co 3+ has configuration 3 d6 which is neither full filled nor half filled..

hence Fe 3+ is more stable than Co 3+
