colloid positively charged, when prepared by adding to
hot water:
- When is with a large quantity of ( water ) then it will proceed to prepare a sol - where the ions are present in an excess amount which are also common to lattice of the sol.
- Therefore, it will be adsorbed on the sol by giving the sol an overall positive charge.
- So we can say that adsorption of the positively charged ions by the sol of hydrated ferric oxide gives a final result of colloid which have an overall positive charge.
