Fertilization is not possible without pollination in plants. Because if they don't pollinate than then pollen grains (male gamates) cannot travel through pollen tube. And don't fuse with egg to form zygote.

Fusion of male gamate and female gamate is known as Fertilization. And this type of fusion is known as Syngamy.
