why is fertilization not possible without pollination​

Because (male) flower has pollen grains and pollen grains must be fused with stigma in female flower.. And it cannot fertilize with fusion. And fertilization is only done with the help of insects,as they come onto one flower and travell to other flower. When they travell they also carry pollen grains from male flower and it fuses with stigma. So fertilization is not possible without pollination..
