Finland's Arctic coastline has no significant navigable port. The closest viable commercial port in the vicinity of the Finnlandic arctic is Murmansk in nearby Russia. This limits Finland's access to the Atlantic to its Baltic Sea coastline.

Hope it helps.

☛ In order to travel by ship from Finland to the Atlantic Ocean you first have to cruise through the Baltic Sea and then you have to go through Germany & Denmark's territorial waters before you can then get into the North Sea, then travel around the UK and onto the Atlantic Ocean.
