Food is made by the leaves using the photosynthesis process. There are certain plants where food is present in roots.

The food stored inside the roots makes it strong. Plants are also provided essential anchorage with the help of the root as they go deep into the soil.

Then there are water plants whose roots go deep in the soil, there are also epiphytes plants that live in trees. Roots are also used as food.

Leaves are all about photosynthesis creating food molecules and absorbing carbon dioxide for the plant.

Root system also provide support for plants in the form of an anchor in the soil.
