It is a eukaryotic organism that has no definite shape. It digests food by forming temporary finger like projections called pseudopodia.
The food is processed by forming a food vacuole called the temporary stomach inside the Amoeba.
After the food is digested the previous food vacuole disappears and a new one is formed everytime.
