Friction has many advantages such as used to hold objects, for starting of motion, helps to walk etc.
On other hand, friction has some disadvantages such as causes wear and tear of machinery parts, opposes relative motion.
Based on the advantages of friction, it is very useful and based on the disadvantages, friction is an evil. Hence, friction is considered to be a necessary evil.

2) it cause producing heat in machines such as scooters, cats etc.
3) we can't move the objects from one place to another.
