Without friction we cannot set out the bodies in motion or stop the moving bodies. Thus friction is absolutely necessary for carrying day to day activities. On the other hand, it also wastes the time and energy, brings about wear and tear and slows down the motion. Thus, we can say that friction is a necessary evil.

well it is right because without friction we cannot walk ,run,sit,play and even cannot write anything we cannot play any game without friction at this friction play an important role in our daily life which when the amount of friction is much we cannot walk play all the things that we di will be difficult for us therefore we can sat that friction is a necessary evil
