Why is frog's joy both sweet and bitter?
It's from the poem the Frog and the Nightingale in English class 10th CBSE.

The frog was extremely happy because lots of birds and animals were coming everyday to listen to the Nightingale's song.
He charged Admission fee from each one of them, sold her original compositions, charged fee for training her and made huge profits for himself.
On the other hand, his bitterness was the result of all the attention and appreciation that the nightingale was getting for her singing. He was also jealous that his own voice was not at all sweet and melodious like that of the Nightingale.
