why is fuse not connected to neutral wire??

becoz fuse works on principle of over heating no current flows in neutral wire so fuse will not be able to break the circuit so it is used in live wire not in neutral wire

if the neutral wire and live wire connects then the short circuit happens that's fuse is not connects to neutral wire it is used to detect the access coming current in the appliance
