Why is galvanized steel not used for food containers?

Food should not be stored in agalvanized container because acids in the food can leach zinc into the food. Hence, the correct option is C. This is because some of the stuff that makes up the galvanization might leach out in the food. Due to this, our food may become poisonous to some extent.

Galvanized utensils are not used for storage of food because Galvanizing process created a coating to the metal that prohibits rust. This coating zinc which can be toxic consumed.
