Why is germination an irreversible change ??

Once germination happens the seed turns into a plant and the plant cannot be turned back into a seed. Therefore, germination is a Irreversible change.

Because a seed has developed into a complete plant which is permanent . Germination of seed is a chemical change because when a seed get germinate it never turns back in the form of seed.After germination we will get a new product which shows totally different character from that of the seed.
