Why is glass considered a super cooled liquid?

Glass is called supercooled liquid because glass is an amorphous solid. Amorphous solids have the tendency to flow but, slowly. It does not form a crystalline solid structure as particles in solids do not move but here it moves. Hence it is called a supercooled liquid.

Similar to liquids,glass has a tendency to flow,though very slowly.

Therefore glass is considered as a supper cooled liquid. This is the reason that glass windows and doors are slightly thicker at the bottom than at the top.
