Global warming is becoming a tgreat to life on earth because of the following:
1.Climate change has brought permanent change in the world atmosphere. Every year the temperature of the land is rising at a pace of 1.4 degrees, resulting in the melting of glaciers.
2.Increased sea level will flood the coastal areas of the world. Melting of glaciers will also endanger several water animals and species from the earth.
3.Increased rainfall has already been noticed in polar regions. Animals and plants cannot easily adjust to the increased rainfall. Plants may die and animals may migrate to other areas, which can cause the downfall of the entire ecosystem.
4.While it may be flooding in Mumbai, severe drought is happening in Madhya Pradesh and so on. As temperature increases the presence of drought is visible to us.
5. As the temperature of the ocean rises, storms are likely to become stronger. The water in the ocean warms up and it heats up the surrounding air, creating tornadoes and storms.
6.Heat waves are also felt during the Summer season. Alarming level of rise in temperature is recorded in many places across the globe
