Gold is considered a metal because it has the proprties of metals.

Gold is mallaeble , which is it can be turned into sheets. It is ductile, can be drawn into wires.

Gold is sonorous, it produces sound when struck.

Gold is hard, cannot be broke, like the other non-metal, it is not brittle
