why is graph plotted between distance and time we always put time on x-axis and distance on y-axis?

hey mate here is ur ans

it is because while finding the slope we take
perpendicular /base
that means y axis value /x axis value
so that we get distance /time =speed
but if we take time in y axis and distance in X axis we will get time/distance which is not defined
