Yes, gravity is the weakest natural force known. But there may be many others. Gravity is so weak that we never would have known about it except for two special properties:

1. There is only one "sign" of the "charge". In electromagnetism, electricity arises from both positive and negative charge, and their effects tend to cancel. In gravity, the effects derive primarily from mass, and there is no cancellation. As a result, even though electricity is stronger than gravity, we don't feel much of an electric force from the Earth, but we do feel a considerable gravity force.

2. Gravity is long range. In physics, this means that it decreases with distance only as an inverse square. It shares this property with electricity. Most other forces (the weak force of radioactive decay, the strong force) decrease much more rapidly with distance. As a result, even distant mass (e.g. that on the other side of the Earth) contributes to your weight.

I suspect there may be many many other forces. If a force existed that was 1000x stronger than gravity, but had a short range (like the Yukawa force), we wouldn't know about it. If it had long range but cancelling charges, we wouldn't know about it.

Now, when you're thinking about things like Gravity, well, the biggest thing that's stopping it from being stronger is the length of the rod. See, the bigger the object, the longer the rod. If you want to make something bigger, you have to use bigger objects, and that's the nature of gravity, and it's the same thing with humans.

If you're a big human, that means you have a lot more to deal with, so when we're talking about growing, that's a big difference between a big human and a small human. But, those two different things in themselves are parts of the equation.

So, let's say you got a person who is a very big fish, but not a wide truck tire. What happens when you try to push him? The fish just grows.

Of course, I'm saying that you cannot make a big fish grow, but it really isn't as hard as you might think. All you have to do is add something bigger than the fish, but what's that?
