DNA copying or replication needs to be highly accurate because this leads to the transfer of incorrect genetic codes to the offspring. This code may result in disbalance in genetic makeup of an organism. The newborn child may develop a syndrome and he/she might be abnormal which leads to the decrease in his chances of survival.
