why is greenhouse essential for the existence of life on the earth ? how is it leading to global warming.​

Green house gases are the gases which trap the heat given by the sun so that the temperature of earth becomes constant.This is the reason why all the organisms including us are able to live on earth.

            But when the level of green house gases increases in the atmosphere more heat will be trapped leading to the increase in the temperature of atmosphere which is called as Global warming.

      Thus we can say that green house gases have both pros and cons.
