Why is H2SO4 not used in place of the NaHSO4 (see circled part)??

The given two reactants are salts.

So salts can react with each other by double displacement method which is given in the paper.

Richa15604: But NaNO3 does react with H2SO4 to give NaHSO4 and HNO3!
