Why is haemophilia found mostly in boys?

In most cases males are affected with haemophilia , because haemophilia is a recessive genetic disorder which is X linked.

Females receive two X chromosomes from each parent. So chances are, one affected X chromosome of a parent gets suppressed by non affected X chromosome of another parent.

But since males have XY chromosomes as their genetic makeup, when they receives affected X chromosome, that gets dominant and the male is affected.

Normally females are carrier for this disease and gets affected very rarely.
