- To avoid Intermixing of Deoxygenated and Oxygenated blood
- For better functioning i.e. collecting the blood in different chamber and pumping it through different chamber

The heart has different chambers to prevent the mixing of Oxygenated and De-oxygenated blood. So it allows a highly efficient supply for oxygen to the body. It also helped to maintain the body temperature.
