Why is Himalayan Rivers perennial whereas Peninsular Rivers are seasonal

the himalayan rivers are perineal because they flow throughout the year. the glaciers will disolve and the water is supply through out the year. there is no source for peninsular river to supply water...

himalyan rivers are called parennials because they recieve water from the rain as well as melted snow. and peninsular rivers are called seasonal because the peninsular rivers are mostly dependent on the rain
