Answer

Hindus actually only believe in one God, Brahman, the eternal origin who is the cause and foundation of all existence. ... Most Hindus have a personal god or godess such as Shiva, Krishna or Lakshmi to whom they pray regularly. The three most important Hindu gods (forms of Brahman) are: Brahma - known as the Creator.

Hindu is important because it encourages debates and questions towards any of their ways. Asking questions and debates is the basic concept of Hindu ways because they recognize this is the way to attain the truth or their ultimate nature. If you see all the Hindu scriptures with the so-called God Entities, all these God-Entities got is questions from their followers. All the scriptures of Hindu are questions and answer sections and not commandments. A good question is always encouraged among Hindus even today. After 1000s of years, they are designed in such a way that to bring more sense, a debate is considered a great tool; not belief systems. Even today, go to an underprivileged Hindu elder and genuinely ask question about their ways. The first reaction will be, they will like you. Genuine question and not question to make fun of them. I frequently get questions like “why can’t you drink cow urine?”, not these kinds of questions. I think this is important because the belief system is creating a Havoc in this world and this actual message of the ways of Hindus can make more sense in the present world.
