Hi dear
History, real History, is not just about forming a narrative. ... The objective is not to tell a tale but to process data according to a methodological approach in order to further illuminate on aspect of the human past. This is the kind of work you don't usually see in a Barnes and Noble.

Answer:
History can not be considered as a story because there is difference between these two words. These are very popular words in English and many English learners confuse them!
"History" is more factual, academic and non friction while "Story" is more connected to the imagination, to friction and it is narrative.
So that's the reason why we can't consider "History" as a "Story".
