Nitric acid is stored in brown bottle in order to prevent it from the sun light.

This is because on explosion to the sun light it gets decomposed into NO2 and O2.

Answer:

Because it will decompose

Explanation:

Nitric acid is one among the strongest acids which is known to be involving in constant decomposition. It is said to be decomposed even in room temperature. When exposed to sunlight the rate of decomposition will be boosted.
