Holy Thursday is considered as a special day in the Christmas calendar because Christians celebrate this day as the establishment of the Eucharist as the blood and true body of Jesus Christ. The sacrament of of the priesthood was also instituted this day.
This is the day just before Good Friday and after Holy Wednesday. This is the Thursday before Easter. It is also referred to as Maundy Thursday. This day marks the last supper Jesus had with his apostles.
