  • Human resources are needed for effective utilisation as well as development of Natural REsources. The basic knowledge required for developing the natural resources — such as food crops ,animal husbandry, and other sciences that provide the backdrop for the above, are known to humans. Even as hunter gatherers, man knew when uncollected seeds would fall to the soil and germinate when the rain falls,or the animals left unculled will multiply themselves and provide food for the next season.

  • Sometimes certain things found in nature, in their original form have no usability or utility. Knowledge, ideas and technology developed by man convert it into a resource. For example, iron ore by itself was of no use till man learned to extract iron from the ore. people use natural resources to make other resources, (e.g. marble for flooring). Natural resources used by man to make other resources say dams, roads, sports complex, etc. these are 'human-made resources'.
  • Many examples of such involvement of man in development of the Natural Resources can be cited.

So human resources are important of development of natural resources.
