Why is hydrated copper sulphate blue but not anhydrous copper sulphate is white

hydrated copper sulphate is blue because of presence of water of crystalization in it and in anhydrous copper sulphate, white color due to absence of water of crystalization as the color of salts are depend upon water of crystalization.
