Why is hydrochloric acid not very expensive?

Hydrochloric acid is not very expensive because the raw materials which is used for making hydrochloric acid is very cheap in rate. The manufacturing process of preparing hydrochloric acid is very simple and cheapest method. So that hydrochloric acid is not very expensive.
