Hydrogen is more reactive than oxygen because the outermost shell of H have 1 electron and needs one more to complete its octet whereas O have 4 electrons in its valance shell and needs 5 more electrons to complete its octet. as we all know donating 1 electron is very easy than donating 5 electron therefore H reacts fastly than O.
