Why is hydrogen not a metalloid?

here ia the ans of your question.....

metalloids are the elements which have slightly the properties of a metal as well as non metal .however, hydrogen is not a metalloid though it has dual nature.

it is because it has just one electron .it can either lose that electron to show metallic character or gain other electron to show non metal character
