H2O2 when opened produces CO2 which may burst the bottle when Opened. .. and it is impermeable to light

Hey !!
Hydrogen peroxide is decomposed by rough surfaces of glass , alkali oxides present in it and light to form H₂O and O₂
2H₂O₂ -----> 2H₂O + O₂
To prevent this decomposition, hydrogen peroxide is usually stored in paraffin wax coated plastic or teflon bottles.
