Ice creams are popular in summer because we humans are warm blooded animals and though we have the capacity to suit ourselves to any type of environment, we want to live in a very happier manner. Ice cream is just a example for such illustrations, we use sweaters more in winters and eat spicy items more in rainy season.
This is because we have addicted to a single type of climate and we never want to come out of that climate and face the reality of nature.
