Answer:

Ans. Ice at 273 K will absorb heat energy or latent heat from the medium to overcome the fusion to become water. Hence the cooling effect of ice is more than the water at same temperature because water does not absorb this extra heat from the medium

Answer:

So, water at 273k has more energy as compared to ice at 273k ,since ice caneasily absorb energy from surroundingin the from of latent heat to form waterwhereas water has no such privilege hence ice is more effective in coolingthan water at same temperature.
