India is one of the largest democracies in the world, and is known as the 'land of festivals'. The reason for such description is because of the diverse cultures, languages and the glorifying history of India.'

India as Land of Festivals

  • India as a country celebrates all the festivals such as Diwali, Gur Purab, Chhatt Pooja, Christmas and Eid.
  • India has a history of being ruled by Hindu Kings, Islamic Rulers and even by British Rulers. This has encapsulated diverse festivals and cultures into the very roots of India.
  • Such diverse cultures and amalgamation of various ethnicities are respected all over the country, and the right to celebrate one's own cultural festivities is guaranteed under the Constitution.

Such colourful and culturally rich history of India makes it one of the most celebrated countries in the world.
