There could be numerous almost uncountable reasons for dividing any country e into several small states or union territories just like that of our country India.

Some of the main reason that I am going to mention here are as follows :

• In order to maintain perfect law and order.

• Smaller divisions could be easily administrated by providing individual leaders to each of the provinces so that it could be easily handled. Although a one leader could not rule the entire country effectively so small divisions are must.

• Necessities of citizens could be easily taken care of an necessary improvements can be made in order to change their lifestyle and lead to a successful pathway for development.

• However after independence of the country many states were created based on the language, religion and similarities in various aspects..

So overall management of the state somehow became easier and local government started ruling these states and taking care of the needs of people.
