Answer:

India has a wide variety of geographical features like mountains, plateau, plains, islands, coastal plains, deserts etc. Hence it is considered a country having all major geographical features. In case of mountains, The Himalayas are present here which represent the loftiest and one of the most rugged mountain barriers of the world. For islands, it has the Lakshadweep islands, The Andaman and Nicobar islands etc. India also has the northern plains and deserts like The Thar Desert (Rajasthan), Ladakh (Jammu & Kashmir) etc. All these makes India a diverse country.

Hope it helps u !!
