Indian federation called centralized federation because the power of the states are centralized on the central government.
We know that India has two types of governments such as central government and state government.
But state government is also funded (partially) by the union government.
Apart from that, the power of the country is centralized on the President of India, and the president is elected by the members of both assemblies.
