In today's world, due to overpopulation, the industries are present very close to the residential areas. The smoke and the wastewater that are coming out from the industries affect the daily life of the people residing around them.

So, the treatment of the water coming from the industries is very important. The wastewater from industries contains many impurities.

In that, the industrial effluent water mainly contains many acidic impurities. If the effluent water is not treated properly, it will contaminate the groundwater source.

The groundwater in that area became very acidic. In the acidic conditions, no plants will grow and no micro-organisms will survive. The land became very dry and not suitable for living. So, it is necessary to treat the industrial wastewater to neutralize with bases before discarding them out.
