Why is inear pare efect more prominent for the heaviest element in a group?

As we move down the group , the shielding of s - electrons decreases due to poor shielding of s- electrons by intervening 4f and 5f electrons ( as f orbital has very less shielding effect )….so s-electrons are strongly attracted to nucleus and hence they are inhibited to participate in bonding….
