In mathematics, "infinity" is often treated as a number (i.e., it counts or measures things: "an infinite numberof terms") but it is not the same sort ofnumber as either a natural or a real number. ... For example, the set of integers is countably infinite, while theinfinite set of real numbers is uncountable.

Man, Infinity is just a concept, it ain't no number whether real or complex or whatsoever, it just ain't used for counting!

Infinity is just the way of something that exists in an indefinite quantity, you can't compare nor carry out your basic maths with Infinity, it's just a very large number, often used to like show what the result of a statement/any Mathematical values be when a part of it gets large enough, or tends to Infinity!
