Becoz iron is the most important metal which exist in Earth.

this is used to make our 78% of things which is used by everyone .

it also continues 11.89% in our total economy and helps to devolep our country

iron ore is called as the backbone of the modern civilisation because it provides raw materials ,all types of machinery to run other industries. this sector has helped in the generation of several small scale industries supporting power, transport and communication industries in India.iron is used in the development if infrastructure like bridges and also for the modes of transportation.to meet the needs of increasing population,excessive industrialization India has increased its production of iron and steel.
