Why is irrigation important for growing crops

Irrigation is important for growing crops because without irrigation it is not possible to do agriculture. Agriculture requires water. No crop can be grown without water. Plants make their food and grow with the help of water and light etc. Whatever crop is sown, only by irrigation in it, the seed germinates and then it develops and the concerned crop is ready.

If there is no water at all, then the seed will not get the necessary moisture environment to grow and that crop will also not be able to grow. For this reason irrigation is required to grow the crop. So that the moisture remains in the field and the seed which has been sown will germinate and develop the crop.
