Why is it advisable to use pressure cooker at higher altitudes for cooking food?

At higher altitude the atmospheric pressure is low and water boils very fast and evaporates at faster rate therefore pressure is required to increase cooking process and this is done by using pressure cooker which increases the pressure inside the cooker and thus the food gets cooked faster

So at hills , water boils at lower temperatures when compared to that at sea level.

Hence the pressure cooker is used for cooking food , so that boiling point of water can be increased by increasing the pressure above the atmospheric pressure.
