why is it advised not to hold the thermometer bulb while reading it

bcz if we hold the thermometer bulb then it loses all that it's measured by it...☺✔

hey its advised as such because
1) if you hold the thermometer it might read your temperature and give the reading
2)it might give wrong readings as you are holding
