Because nylon is a synthetic fibre and its rope is much stronger than a jute rope so it can easily bear human weight,
moreover a nylon thread is much stronger than a steel wire, thus a nylon rope is best for mountain climbing even the parachutes are made of this rope.. It is almost impossible to break a nilon rope with a weight of a human.
